Fall Engagement near Upper Shirley Vineyards | CHARLES CITY RVA
You guys, we are still thinking about this cotton field full engagement session near Upper Shirley Vineyards. Located in Charles City, Virginia and just south of RVA, this area is a treasure trove of wedding photographer heaven. It’s on the way to Shirley Plantation, right next to one of our favorite Virginia wineries and places to eat. And, the views here are amazing.
One thing you may not know about this cotton field is that there is no path to get “into” the cotton. So, you just have to take a deep breath and dive right in. Okay, not literally. But, we did and it felt kind of like an expedition or something. Shoutout to all of our adventurous couples who love exploring new locations and introducing us to all of their favorite spots. We love y’all!
When You Know, You Know
We bonded with our couple over our love of the perfect neutral nail polish color. Okay, so maybe I bonded with Madison over her nail polish. Austin just happened to be there at the same time, and he looked fabulous even without wearing nail polish. Anyway, I saw it and told her I loved the color. And then, we realized we were both wearing the exact same color. No, literally. At the same time, we both exclaimed “Don’t Bossa Nova Me Around by OPI!??”
Our bride was able to connect with the owner of this field to ask permission for us to have their engagement session here. And you guys, it was the perfect spot to have an outdoor fall engagement session in October. The lighting and all of cute moments of these two certainly made this one memorable. Madison and Austin, we cannot wait for your May wedding at Seven Springs Farm. Congrats on your engagement!
