WOODLANDS AT ALGONKIAN WEDDING PHOTOS
Megan and Evan both met each other online, and I love when Dave and I get to work with couples that met online, because it reminds me of where our love story started! But not only that, Megan and Evan also had their first date at a bowling alley, just like Dave and I! We were just meant to be! They both just exuded calmness on their wedding day. Don’t get me wrong, every pastel pink and natural green detail was perfectly thought out, but there was just an air of peacefulness throughout the day. And it was wonderful to be a part of that. The weather, unlike their Old Town Alexandria engagement photos session where we raced against the impending thunderstorm, was absolutely perfect, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day for their wedding! We love capturing The Woodlands At Algonkian wedding photos, because there is no shortage of beautiful outdoor spots during every season. Their pastel pink and natural green details with hints of sparkle just fit in so perfectly against the bright spring green backdrop at Algonkian Park. Megan even spent months searching for the perfect round gold and silver frames for their table numbers, and it was so worth it. They were the perfect touch of gold and silver to pop in a room full of pretty pastels. I love the bridal suite at The Woodlands at Algonkian, and you’ll see why in these images!
Isn’t her dress GORGEOUS! It might be my favorite wedding dress this whole wedding season. And Megan looked radiant in her wedding gown. And that custom amethyst engagement ring that Evan had made just for her. So so pretty.

We just love these two, and have enjoyed getting to know them and watch them just be with each other, especially on their wedding day! They’re naturals!

I, of course love me some peonies. But when Dahlias start making their appearance in weddings in the fall, it makes me forget all about Springtime! They’re so pretty!
I love all the natural stone in the Woodlands at Algonkian reception venue. It goes perfectly with every color scheme!
We love this wall of reflective windows at The Woodlands. It gives us an opportunity to be a little creative with our dancing pictures (and we have to keep an extra eye out to make sure we aren’t showing up in those windows too! hahah!). But I love being able to use their reflection in the wedding photos of their first dance to make it an extra special image. 
Megan and Evan and all of their family and friends knew how to get down on the dance floor! That dance floor was packed the entire time we were there and I love when that happens!
