Grace and Reid live in Portsmouth Virginia and chose to have their spring wedding right here in Richmond. With their ceremony at Saint Bridget Catholic Church and reception at The Branch Museum of Architecture and Design, their entire wedding day was filled with classy, romantic vibes. We knew how important their wedding theme was to them, and how important Richmond is to them. So, it’s only natural that their late spring Richmond engagement photos at Libby Hill Park represented that same type of feel.
We met with our soon-to-be newlyweds right at the start of June at one of our absolute favorite outdoor spots for classic RVA engagement photos. Libby Hill Park. Across from the James River and full of iconic Richmond views of water towers and the historic Lucky Strike building. Where East Main Street curves into Williamsburg Avenue. And, where East Franklin intersects with North 29th, you’ll find this hometown gem. It is the perfect spot for a late spring engagement photo session. Especially, with these two.
From our photo session, it is just so easy to see just how in love they are! Grace and Reid’s engagement photos here are all about the classic RVA views combined with romantic, classy vibes at the peak of golden hour. Basically, all the elements of a wedding photographer’s dream engagement photo session.
We hope you enjoy these late spring engagement photos at Libby Hill Park. Thank you, Grace and Reid, for wearing the prettiest shades of blues and browns that perfectly matched your natural greenery filled backdrop. And even more, for trusting us as your Richmond wedding photographer. We hope you enjoy these as much as we do!
