It was a Tuesday in May. On a boat, at sunset, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, somewhere between the Florida Keys and Cuba, the man of Lindsay’s dreams got down on one knee and asked her to be his for the rest of their lives. Though neither Lindsay or Ryan can remember the exact words he used, or even if he said her name, they both remember the answer was a resounding, “YES!” There were tears, smiles and laughter…it was perfect! What a start to such an epic romance. Lindsay and Ryan are both in the hospitality and travel fields, so I knew from the beginning that planned their entire wedding weekend would be planned perfectly. From the bridal details to the pie bar, it was all so stunning! It was a perfect Stone Tower Winery wedding. The florals (oh my goodness!), the hand made limoncello, the beautiful sweeping views of Virginia wine country, hand dried rose confetti…. she did so much to make their day unbelievably unique and special! It was such an honor to be the ones capturing their beautiful Stone Tower Winery wedding and all of their stunning details. Thank you for allowing us the honor of being a part of your wedding day and being your wedding photographers!
I loved the floral crowns that Lindsay had for her sweet flower girls. They looked like little fairy princesses! The Stone Tower Winery wedding bridal suite was the perfect setting for Lindsay and her ladies to get ready. Lots of natural light, a beautiful brick wall, and a HUGE mirror made me one happy photographer! How cute is this little flower girl?Didn’t Eight Tree Street Floral do such an incredible job with this bouquet. I have dreams about this wedding bouquet!Such a sweet mother daughter moment..I just love these hand dried rose petal confetti cones wrapped in white lacy paper. The views at the Stone Tower Winery wedding ceremony site are just out of this world. One of my favorite thing about being a Central Virginia wedding photographer is all of the beautiful rolling hills and lush vineyards, and Stone Tower Winery does not disappoint!Ryan is trying so hard to keep it together during that first moment seeing his bride walking toward him. So sweet! I just love this! The light up on this hill was to die for! We truly couldn’t have asked for a better day for their wedding! But do you want to know why I really love this wedding photo? The sweet little flower girl just doing her thing in the corner!Lindsay’s long time family friend and pastor officiated the ceremony and there were not many dry eyes left among the guests!Lindsay and Ryan! You’re married! Yay!Time for some Stone Tower Winery Wedding pictures! Yes Please! When the wedding party wants a group prom pose to remind them of when they were back in high school, I will always happily oblige! Before heading into their Stone Tower Winery wedding reception, we of course had to take a quick stop inside the wine barrel room for some Virginia Wine Country wedding photos! Isn’t this the perfect little secret passageway for wedding photos at Stone Tower?
Their wedding reception was the perfect mix of rustic luxury. Lots of lush pastel flowers and antique vases mixed with lots of natural wood.
I love all of the details on their wedding dessert table. And the pie bar! Genius idea!Half way through the reception the groom and his groomsmen disappeared and then showed up in just their vests.. All to serenade Lindsay! Oh my goodness! I can’t say this has ever happened at a wedding we’ve photographed before. Ending the night with a kiss as husband and wife..
