Forest Inspired US Naval Chapel Fall Wedding :: ELLEN + RYAN
There is nothing more characteristic of Annapolis MD than an elegant United States Naval Academy wedding. A summer wedding is always so beautiful, of course. But, a fall wedding can lead to a gorgeous fur stole, and that plus changing leaves is so pretty! When Ellen and Ryan chose us as their Naval Academy wedding photographer, we were beyond ecstatic. Not only are they the sweetest couple, but we have photographed their friends and family’s weddings. Their whole day wound up feeling like one big Sarah & Dave reunion. These two met through family members and their first date was actually a blind date. Despite both sides being hesitant, the night went well and their relationship grew. Ellen told me, “It was easy falling in love with each other, and it didn’t take long. We fell in love with each other’s personalities, goals, desires, and the way we are with our families. We had similar upbringing, and it was so sweet for me to see how much Ryan loved his family and how comfortable they made me feel… It’s hard to say when I knew Ryan was the one because our connection was instantaneous and every step in our relationship has been absolutely amazing. He is easy to love, and I am beyond excited to spend the rest of my life with him.”
By the way, the groom was not in uniform, so you will not find the sword arch ceremony like we saw in Brandi and Zach’s wedding or using the sword during the cake-cutting ceremony like you may find in other military weddings. What you will find: one beautiful wedding venue and pretty, forest-inspired wedding decorations. Enjoy!

Ellen’s Annapolis Makeup Artist was Something Blu Beauty. Her look is romance and glamour all rolled into one bridal look. 
Her Essense of Australia wedding dress had a halter top, lacy bodice, and buttons that trailed from the neckline to the train!
