MANASSAS BATTLEFIELD ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS

I’ve lost track of the number of times we had to postpone Yoshi and Alan’s Manassas Battlefield engagement photos because of the two months of non-stop rain we had recently. So it was so fun to finally meet up with them for their engagement session, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect summer evening.  There was a nice breeze, the temperature was mild, the sunset was buttery and hazy and golden, and there was NO RAIN!  Alan made a joke about them looking whimsical and well, I kept bringing it up the whole rest of our time together.  That probably makes me their favorite photographer… But I’d say they did a pretty good job looking whimsical. And amazing!  Their engagement session was just dreamy, and we just kept going strong until the sun went down.  Aren’t they just the sweetest?  We’re so honored to be photographing their wedding this coming Fall at Molon Lave Vineyards!  When these two images are the first two images you take at an engagement portrait session, you know its going to be a good one!None of us really knew our way around the Manassas Battlefields, so of course I asked them climb up a hill ahead of us for some pictures (and to see what was past the hill!).  I’d say that was a good decision!  I think this might be one of my favorite images!  They just look so sweet and happy and in love and I just love love love it!I am just so funny..I’m not quite sure what I said, but it must’ve been awesomely homorous.  Maybe I should take up a side gig as a.. clown? Just kidding!THIS!  Yoshi! You are stunning!We ended our time together over at a really cool historic stone house.  Dave scouted out and suggested these spots at the end, and I couldn’t be happier with them!  That’s why he’s the best business partner (and hubby) ever!
