You have gotten a little taste of Kristina and Ryan’s American Visionary Art Museum Wedding in Baltimore MD when we posted about Coral Wedding Inspiration on our blog recently. You *may* have seen a few of their pictures on our website (hello, header image!), because their light coral wedding colors with pink and peach tones are hands down one of our most favorite things ever. Along with cardigan sweaters, Birkenstocks, Quirk Hotel, everything about Richmond, and all things copper, of course. But y’all. You have to see the rest of this wedding. For starters, this summer AVAM wedding happened at one of our favorite wedding venues, and we got the pleasure of working alongside a DREAM TEAM of Baltimore wedding vendors. Don’t believe us? Scroll down.
The story for this Maryland couple begins like all other great love stories: an almost meeting that neither our Baltimore bride NOR groom can remember. Thanks to a friend, they have evidence. Kristina says, “Ryan and I have met more than once in our life, but neither of us can remember it. But thanks to a friend’s photos, we have proof that we both met once at 6 years old, and another at 9-10.” Eventually, they meet again – actually remember it – and later on, become inseparable best friends. They start dating, have a little furbaby, and finally get engaged, BUT ONLY AFTER Ryan makes sure to include all of Kristina’s list of proposal requirements. You know, like: make it a surprise and get it professionally photographed. The necessities. Future grooms-to-be, we hope you are taking notes. Ok, so, enough about proposal ideas, let’s take a look at this gorgeous Baltimore wedding.
Cute and comfy Ralph Lauren wedding shoe sandals? Yes, please! Kristina is a girl after my own heart.
Mismatched light coral bridesmaid dresses and a light and bright Baltimore city skyline backdrop for the winner. There is nothing like a colorful summer wedding at charm city’s inner harbor.
It’s time for their first look. Cue: Kristina, Ryan, and Federal Hill Park.Kristina and Ryan, you make the sweetest couple. That first look photo in the park is definitely one *of many* of our favorites from this photo session.Onto some Baltimore inner harbor photos with the city’s skyline backdrop. It looked so beautiful with their summery coral and peach wedding colors.Oh my, how gorgeous are these two?! “Here comes your best friend” sign with smug, giggly looks from ring-bearers wearing suspenders. If you are a bride or groom-to-be and have yet to include small children into your wedding ceremony, do it, if only for the giggles. Happy bride and mother of the bride walking-down-the-aisle moment.Their first dance as husband and wife included a twirl and a dip. Can this get any better? Oh yes, we forgot about the cake.
We LOVED everything about this summer American Visionary Art Museum wedding. Kristina and Ryan, we wish you many years of happiness. Thanks for allowing us the honor of being your Baltimore AVAM wedding photographer!
