CAMP PUH TOK WEDDING PHOTOS | VIRGINIA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Ya’ll! I have been so excited to share Kate and Kyle’s wedding with you on my newly designed blog! Ooh, so fancy! But seriously!  This wedding is SO worth the wait.  Just picture a cozy camping trip, plus all the beautiful details you would expect from an amazing wedding. That is what Kate and Kyle’s wedding was all about.  I was in heaven photographing all the pretty details. And Kate and Kyle and both just so wonderful. We love all of our couples, and are so thankful when our couples just completely trust us and kind of hand over the reins for their wedding photography so we can do what we do best. And that’s exactly what these two folks did at their Camp Puh Tok wedding.  I’m head over heels reliving their wedding day through these photos!

This is such a sweet photo of Kate and her Mom! Kate had customized sweatshirts made for each of her bridesmaids to stay cozy during the wedding weekend at Camp Puh Tok.  They were able to rent out the entire campground so all their closest friends and family could stay together and have a fun camping weekend! This is the epitome of a cozy winter wedding!  Fur lined slippers as wedding shoes! I love it so much! So sweet! Kate carefully thought out each and every detail of their wedding, including special thank you presents for her parents. There was not a dry eye around when she took her parents aside to give these to them. Okay, I’ve witnessed some pretty amazing first looks. But this Camp Puh Tok wedding first look is probably my favorite of all time. The colors, the emotions. Ugh! Perfection! Most unique and coolest wedding ceremony venue? Camp Puh Tok for the win! And then. Right in the middle of their wedding ceremony, Kate and Kyle did a custom hot-iron branding ceremony. This was quite literally the coolest thing I’ve ever seen happen at a wedding ceremony! And, to top it all off, no one even got hurt or burned! Kate! You are STUNNING!

Alright, I’ going to stop talking and let you just admire all of the glamorous, cozy, camping lodge reception details… In case you couldn’t tell… The toasts were pretty hilarious and heartfelt.  I just loved watching their reactions! What a better way to surprise your wedding guests than with some midnight snacks when their energy is starting to get a little low? 

Kate and Kyle ended their wedding with a paper lantern send off. And it was the perfect ending to the perfect day!
