We love Baltimore, so its been so fun that even though we moved and we’re now Richmond wedding Photographers, we still get to go back to our old stomping grounds many weekends this year for weddings.  Last weekend we were so honored to photograph Ashley and Eric’s Baltimore Maryland Wedding and capture some beautiful Sheraton Inner Harbor wedding photos.  It’s such a great hotel right in the heart of Baltimore.  And Ashley and Eric and their families were so sweet to us.  Poor Eric was sick on his wedding day (just like I was on ours!) but he was such a trooper and was so relaxed all day.  And Ashley and her family- they are so friendly and wonderful.  We love our job as wedding photographers no matter what, but when we’re greeted with hugs and smiles and excitement that we’re there to be part of their day, it just makes our job that much easier.  We strive to make sure our couples all feel loved and appreciated and its wonderful feeling loved and appreciated in return! So, on to Ashley and Eric.  Guys! They met when they were just 13! Babies! Eric worked at Skateland where Ashley would spend all of her weekends. Eventually life got busy for Ashley, and Eric left Skateland. They lost touch for years and then randomly ran into each other again at Ashley’s softball game, that Eric just happened to be at getting ready for his own team’s practice. Eric saw her from across the field and they talked for the first time in years (I feel like that could totally be a plot in a romantic comedy), but still nothing came of it besides friendship. A few month or two later, a mutual friend reached out to Ashley about a job opening back at Skateland,  and shortly after she took the job, Eric also happened to come back to work at Skateland. Talk about meant-to-be. They both built a strong friendship, slowly started hanging out more and it ended up turning into a relationship down the road, and they’ve been together ever since.  And if you love the color teal as much as I do, you’re going to love their wedding day!

I love having a couple quiet minutes of time with the bride for an intimate bridal portrait. Ashley, you made such a beautiful bride! Kayleigh was so excited for Ashley and Eric’s wedding day!  And Ashley has such a sweet relationship with her!I love how the teal bridesmaids dresses just add the most perfect pop of color!Ashley had her stepmom walk her to the beginning of the aisle where she handed her off to her momma.  It was such an emotional moment.After Eric and Ashley shared their vows with one another, Ashley made a vow to her new stepdaughter.  I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.They had such a fun group of bridesmaids and groomsmen!  Their made my job of getting some awesome Sheraton Inner Harbor wedding photos so easy!I just loved how excited Ashley was, and how in love they are!So sweet!The Sheraton Inner Harbor has such a great reception room. I love those cool light fixtures!Sugarbakers always does an amazing job with wedding cakes!At the end of their first dance, Kayleigh joined them for a family dance! So cute. I think its safe to say that their guests had an awesome time, and Ashley and Eric are well-loved!
