RICHMOND WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER BEST OF 2016
2016 was truly a record breaking year for us. We said “Yes!” to exactly 30 weddings- which is nearly double our yearly average. It was incredibly overwhelming in the most wonderful way. We have been incredibly blessed getting to work with so many amazing couples. And, just as our 2016 wedding season was coming to an end in Maryland, we found out that we were going to officially be Richmond wedding photographer s in 2017! We cannot wait to get to know the RVA wedding scene this next year, we’ve even been accepted to become a member of the Richmond Wedding Collective (Don’t worry Maryland brides! We’ll still be accepting Maryland, Pennsylvania, and DC weddings!). We’re so excited for the truly amazing weddings that we having coming our way in 2017, and can’t wait to share some Richmond Virginia wedding photos with you this coming year so you can see for yourself why we couldn’t resist Richmond VA! But first, I just have to look back on our 2016 wedding photography season!
From the day we photographed a wedding during the blizzard in January and had all of our neighbors help us shovel four feet of snow off our street so we could make it to the wedding- and then being featured in multiple news articles and blogs because of it, to having my dream come true and being able to photograph a bride and groom at the Quirk Hotel in downtown Richmond Virginia (this is seriously my favorite hotel in the entire world) with some sweet new RVA wedding vendor friends, this year has been a dream!
I’ll end with this sweet wedding photo from one of our favorite Virginia weddings last year! I hope 2017 is full of lots of green grass, happy twirls and dances for you!
