GRAND LODGE MARYLAND WEDDING PHOTOS

We’ve never felt like a wedding day has gone by so fast like we did this weekend at Michelle and Chris’ Grand Lodge of Hunt Valley wedding.  It was just jam-packed with fun and laughter and dancing from beginning to end.  And when a bride and groom get legitimately excited to sneak away for some extra wedding photos during the reception right before sunset, my heart pretty much skips a beat!  Chris is completely smitten with Michelle.  And Michelle just absolutely adores Chris, and it was such a joy to photograph their love and their relationship!  I’d tell you myself how they met, but I just love the way Chris described it.. you can just tell how much he loves her.  Michelle LOVES to dance, and then night she met Chris was the one night she was planning on staying in, but her friends convinced her otherwise..  “We saw each other across the Ballroom and we locked eyes. After her trying to bait me in over the next 3 glances with subtle cues,  Michelle then decided to step out of the circle of girls she was dancing with, extended both of her palms face up, like an air traffic controller, and waved me in. Little did I know at that moment, I was being waved in by my wife, as if she knew I was the one she had been waiting for. It was four years ago and dare I say, close to a feeling of love at first sight.” Right?  I just love these two!

Oh that red church door with their baby blue bridesmaids dressses! Perfection!Look how incredibly happy they are! Her wedding dress! Oh my goodness!  Its one of my favorites!  At first glance it looks fairly classic.  A stunning lacey A-line..And then she turned to the side during portrait time and I saw the GORGEOUS back of her dress!  Isn’t it amazing?

I could’ve kept taking wedding photos of them all day long in front of this red door!They are just so sweet with each other!We just LOVED all of their literary details that they decorated their Grand Lodge Maryland wedding reception with. You guys!  They even had placecards for us to sit down during dinner.  It seems like such a simple thing, but I cannot even tell you how nice it is to have a glass of water that gets refilled for us for 15-20 minutes while we eat a hot meal after being on our feet for 6 hours. Seriously!  We are so thankful for sweet couples like Michelle and Chris that feel more like friends than clients!Michelle and her dad shared a really sweet first dance to “Michelle My Bell” by The Beatles, and then half way through switched to “Uptown Funk” with a choreographed dance that she and her dad spent HOURS practicing before the wedding!  Their guests LOVED it!We sneaked out to this beautiful rolling hill field for some Grand Lodge Maryland wedding photos during their reception right before sunset.  I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard during a wedding before. We had so much fun adventuring for a few minutes for some more beautiful photos.  We love these two!
