CLASSIC SILVER AND PURPLE CELEBRATIONS AT THE BAY WEDDING PHOTOS

Courtney and Gamal both grew up around the Washington DC metro area, but it wasn’t until they both moved to North Carolina for school that they actually met.  They started out as friends, and then grew into best friends. Gamal even secretly liked Courtney in college, but because they had such a sweet friendship, he never let his feelings show because he valued their friendship so much that he didn’t want to risk the chance of losing her as a friend. You can just tell after being around them for a minute that Gamal is just smitten with Courtney.  But after college, and years of always being there for each other, their relationship naturally evolved and they realized they had both fallen in love.  Last summer, Gamal put together a pretty epic proposal atop of the ferris wheel in National Harbor, and they began planning their bautiful Celebrations at the Bay wedding in Annapolis, Maryland.  Courtney planned a beautifully simple classic wedding with just enough perfect silver and purple wedding details to make sure their love shined through throughout the day.  And we absolutely love working with the amazing team at Celebrations at the Bay and Uptown Catering.  They treat us well, as we’ve seen time and time again that they treat our Sknow Photo wedding couples like family and we just love that! And their grounds are just gorgeous for taking stunning Celebrations at the Bay wedding photos.  I just love the light bright airy rooms of the Westin Hotel that Courtney got ready at.  It really made her purple and silver wedding details sparkle.AH! Don’t you just love her wedding reception shoes?  Custom converse chucks with her wedding colors and new name!The bridal suite at Celebrations on the Bay is just perfectly clean and crisp.  Looking sharp!I love the Celebrations at the Bay ceremony overlooking the Chesapeake bay. It almost feels like you’re transported to a remote tropical island.This might be my all-time favorite first kiss photo.  It feels like time just stopped and they were the only ones there just enjoying a sweet moment together on their wedding day. Man oh man!  The dock overlooking the Chesapeake Bay at Celebrations at the Bay!  We took them out there for some Celebrations at the Bay wedding photos right before sunset when the sky is just beginning to turn that golden violet hue.  I could’ve just stayed out there all day!Now this is the start to the room getting a little teary-eyed.  Gamal shared a sweet moment with his momma on the dance floor.And then Courtney during their father-daughter dance. A few more people got teary eyed. But it didn’t stop there.  Courtney and her mom have such a beautiful relationship and you could just see their love and friendship and closeness.  It was the cutest!Then Courtney’s two brothers joined them on the dance floor.  And thats when there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. And just in case everyone wasn’t already crying enough happy tears, Courtney had one more dance with her uncle.
