Phew! Now thats a title! Lauren and Andrew are just the cutest, most-perfect-for-each-other couple I’ve ever had the joy of getting to know. Lots of times the couples we get to work with for their wedding photography don’t live near Dave and I, so I rely a lot on questionnaires, emails, and phone conversations to really get to know the couple. But Lauren and Andrew live about 3 minutes away from us, and we go to the same church, Revolution Annapolis. So we’ve gotten to get together quite a bit and really become good friends with them. And every time we’ve hung out with them, it feels like I’m watching a stinkin’ chick flick (“stinkin'” in a totally awesome way!). They are so into each other, and in love with each other. Andrew is Lauren’s rock, and steadies her. Lauren is Andrew’s gust of wind, and reminds him to stop and smells the roses. They really do just complete each other, and form this really awesome partnership that works way better together than individually.
Lauren really wanted to make sure that she had fun at her wedding. She didn’t care about following all the ‘rules’ of weddings. Lauren and Andrew, Andrew specifically, love the 90’s and grew up and became the people they are today in the 90’s. So they threw an all out 90’s bash of a wedding party, complete with slap bracelets, a live 90’s cover band, a costume contest, scrunchies, and fanny packs. But that part of the day I’m saving for Part Two of this blog post.. And trust me, you do not want to miss it.
